Sunil, I understand that we are individually finite. But, we can make time last much longer for ourselves by passing our genes on to our children and continuing to live on this planet through them. After all genes are the most fundamental components of our being. So, don't let them die without passing them onward. Then time alone won't have slipped by, you too will have slipped onward with time!!

I am reminded of this quote by King Whitney Jr. "Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better."

Time is the continuous, constant change, and I think the reminder of that change will affect people in different ways. When I see this same statement on opening my blog, I think, "What have I done today that was worthwhile?". I was hoping to inspire that same kind of action-oriented thinking in my readers. Don't know if I have succeeded, but there's always hope...

As for what actions it inspires, it always depends on the thinker..

Change is change, sometimes its for the better other times its a change to something worse---the main thing is---without change each day would be just like the one before----thats death in my book, so give me change please.

Gary, thank you for taking the time to comment. I agree with you, change, even unwelcome change, adds variety to life, keeps things moving!
